The report relies on new information published by the authorities, including the recently published reports of Ministry of Planning and Finance (MOPF), and other publicly available sources. The fiscal deficit is estimated at 5.4 percent of gross domestic product (GDP) in FY2023-24 and expected to increase slightly to 5.5 percent in FY2024-25.en
