dc.description.abstractThe report is structured around four chapters and begins by offering a comprehensive overview of the region's climate and disaster risk profile in Chapter 1. This is followed by chapter 2 which provides a snapshot of the status of social protection systems in the region. Chapter 3 conducts a detailed analysis of the World Bank's stress test assessments in the LAC region, showcasing good practices and overarching weaknesses categorized according to the building blocks of the Adaptive Social Protection (ASP) framework. Building on the assessment findings, chapter 3 also provides a set of transnational emerging recommendations geared towards the advancement of the ASP agenda in LAC. Chapter 4 takes a forward-looking approach, exploring the World Bank's role in contributing to making social protection systems in the region more adaptive. This chapter also touches upon crucial issues within the region, including migration and the high levels of informality, thereby providing a broader perspective on the challenges and opportunities surrounding the advancement of this crucial agenda in the LAC countries.en
dc.description.abstractEl informe se estructura en torno a cuatro capítulos, y comienza ofreciendo una visión general de el perfil de riesgo climático y de desastres de la región Capítulo 1. A esto le sigue el capítulo 2, que proporciona una Panorama de la situación de los sistemas de protección social en el Región. En el capítulo 3 se realiza un análisis detallado del mundo las evaluaciones de las pruebas de resistencia del Banco en la región de América Latina y el Caribe; mostrar las buenas prácticas y las deficiencias generales; categorizados según los componentes básicos del Marco de protección social (PSA). Sobre la base del resultados de la evaluación, en el capítulo 3 también se presenta un conjunto de transnacionales emergentes orientadas a la promoción del programa de PSA en América Latina y el Caribe. En el capítulo 4 se analiza visión de futuro, explorando las papel que desempeñar en la contribución para que los sistemas de protección social la región más adaptativa. En este capítulo también se hace referencia a cuestiones cruciales en la región, como la migración y los altos niveles de informalidad, proporcionando así un perspectiva sobre los desafíos y las oportunidades que rodean el avance de esta agenda crucial en los países de ALC.es
