dc.description.abstractParaguay in the last decade and a half not only experienced robust economic growth and improved labor outcomes across sectors, it also saw marked improvements in job quality and the creation of many new jobs that are good for development. Good jobs for development, the focus of this analysis, are those that boost living standards, have higher levels of productivity, and enhance social cohesion through positive social externalities. The analysis in this report describes the ways in which employment outcomes have improved for a majority of Paraguayans, the degree to which certain types of workers have not benefited from ongoing dynamic transformations, and the challenges for sustaining and enhancing labor market gains in the future.en
dc.description.abstractEn los últimos quince años, Paraguay no sólo ha experimentado un crecimiento económico robusto y ha mejorado los resultados del empleo en todos los sectores, sino también mostró una marcada mejoría en la calidad del empleo y en la creación de muchos nuevos puestos de trabajo que son buenos para el desarrollo. Los buenos empleos para el desarrollo, el enfoque de este análisis, son los que mejoran los niveles de vida, tienen niveles más altos de productividad, y aumentan la cohesión social a través de externalidades sociales positivas. El análisis describe las maneras en que los resultados del empleo han mejorado para la mayoría de los paraguayos, cómo ciertos tipos de trabajadores no se han beneficiado de las transformaciones dinámicas que están ocurriendo, y cuáles son los desafíos para sostener y mejorar el desempeño del mercado laboral en el futuro.es
