Biography
Kichan Kim is a Junior Professional Officer in the Office of the Chief Economist of the Sustainable Development Practice at the World Bank. His professional interests focus on using geospatial data with statistical analysis to study interactions between the environment, social and human welfare, and the role of markets in mitigating the linkage. Prior to joining the World Bank, he served as a consultant for the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI), working on nutrition-based market quality measures in the context of African countries. He holds a Ph.D. in Agricultural, Environment, and Development Economics from Ohio State University.
