authorProfile.biographyChristian Schuster is professor in public management at University College London. His core research interest lies in data and civil service management. His research is widely published, with more than 70 publications, and he has won a range of awards, including the 2018 Haldane Prize for the best article published in Public Administration. He cofounded the Global Survey of Public Servants, coleads the Centre for People Analytics in Government, and has collaborated in his research with more than 30 governments, as well as a range of international organizations. He was previously an economist with the World Bank and a visiting research scholar with the Inter-American Development Bank. He holds a PhD in government from the London School of Economics.
