authorProfile.biography | Abdoulaye Cissé is a Research Economist in the Sustainability and Infrastructure team of the World Bank’s Development Research Group. His work focuses on energy access, grid reliability, power systems, and large-scale infrastructure in energy and agriculture. He uses high-frequency micro-data and empirical methods grounded in economic theory in his research. He holds a BA in Economics from Stanford University and a PhD in Agriculture and Resource Economics from the University of California, Berkeley. He has been a part-time lecturer for various econometric classes at Université Gaston Berger de Saint-Louis in Senegal since 2021. | |
