Her research focuses on the areas of measuring financial inclusion and the linkages of financial sector and private sector development and the role of institutions. Previously, she was part of the Finance and Private Sector Research Team of the Development Research Group at the World Bank where she worked on the Global Findex database, which measures how adults around the world save, borrow, make payments, and manage risk. She holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Tilburg University, The Netherlands. | |
