authorProfile.biography | Saleh Mamun is a Postdoctoral Associate at the University of Minnesota. Saleh is jointly appointed at the Applied Economics Department and Natural Resources Research Institute. His research interest lies in the field of natural resource economics and ecological economics. His research focuses on optimizing decision on managing natural resources considering nature’s constribution to people. He also uses non-market valuation approach to quantify behavioral and market responses to environmental amenities and hazards. He is a team member of The Natural Capital Project, a collaborative initiative between Stanford University and University of Minnesota. He earned his Ph.D. in Economics from the University of New Mexico and an MBA in Finance from the Institute of Business Administration, University of Dhaka. He worked six years in construction, marketing, and government in Bangladesh. He has experience in research on environmental issues from business, development, and engineering perspective. | |
