The first volume is subtitled Key issues for a pro- development outcome of the Doha Round, and it is focused on specific concerns that are being encountered in the agricultural negotiations, and on strategies for dealing with them to arrive at a final agreement that will significantly spur growth and reduce poverty in developing countries. The companion volume is subtitled Quantifying the impact of multilateral trade reform. It comprises chapters that take different approaches to modeling trade reform and quantifying the resulting benefits and costs to various players in the negotiations. The study explains the differences in results that come out of these different approaches, and compares them to some other recent estimates of the gains from global trade reform.en-USCC BY 3.0 IGOAGREEMENT ON AGRICULTUREAGRICULTURAL EXPORT SUBSIDIESAGRICULTURAL EXPORTERSAGRICULTURAL EXPORTSAGRICULTURAL LIBERALIZATIONAGRICULTURAL MARKET ACCESSAGRICULTURAL NEGOTIATIONSAGRICULTURAL POLICIESAGRICULTURAL PRICESAGRICULTURAL PRODUCTIONAgricultural Productsagricultural protectionagricultural sectoragricultural subsidiesAgricultural TariffsAgricultural TradeAgricultural Trade LiberalizationAgricultural Trade ReformAgricultural Trade ResearchAgricultureapplicable lawAverage TariffsAverage Tradebalance of paymentsbarriers to importsBenefits of Tradebilateral negotiationsBorder Protectioncompetitive advantageDevelopment Agendadevelopment rounddifferential treatmentDomestic Supportdumpingeconomic growthEuropean Unionexport competitionexport creditExport RevenueExport ShareExport SubsidyExportsfree accessFull LiberalizationGDPglobal economyglobal levelglobal marketsglobal tradeGlobal Trade AnalysisGNPhigh tariffsImport PriceImport Shareimporting countriesImportsIncomeindustrial countriesInternational Bankinternational communityInternational Trademacroeconomic policiesmanufactured goodsMarket AccessMinisterial MeetingMost-Favored-Nationmultilateral negotiationsMULTILATERAL TRADEmultilateral trade agreementsmultilateral trade negotiationsMULTILATERAL TRADE REFORMnatural resourcesnegative impactnontariff barriersPartial Liberalizationpolitical economypoor countriespoor peoplePoverty Reductionpreferential accessPricesprotectionismQuota RentsQuota TariffReal GDPReduction Commitmentsregional groupsRound AgreementRound negotiationsrural areasrural sectorsSpecial ProvisionsSpecial Treatmentstate tradingTariff RateTariff rate quotaTariff Rate QuotasTariff Ratestariff structuresTerms of TradeTerms of Trade EffectsTotal OutputTradetrade agreementstrade barriersTrade Classificationtrade distortionstrade effecttrade facilitationtrade measuretrade measurestrade negotiationsTrade PolicyTrade Policy Reformtrade policy reformsTrade Reformstrade regimestrade roundstrading systemUruguay RoundWelfare ImpactsWorld MarketWorld PricesWorld TradeWorld Trade OrganizationWTOWTO membersReforming Agricultural Trade for Developing Countries : Volume 2.
