Responding to this interest, the World Bank started a participatory process to identify the demand and the most important themes which would be the basis for a capacity-building program. As a consequence, training modules on governance, development with identity, indigenous rights, and the use of technologies of information and communications (ICT) have been prepared and validated in a series of workshops held since 2003, with the participation of indigenous leaders.CC BY 3.0 IGOACTION PLANANALYTICAL WORKCAPACITY BUILDINGCASE STUDIESCENTRAL AMERICACOMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGIESCONCEPTUAL FRAMEWORKDECENTRALIZATIONDEMOCRACYDISTANCE LEARNINGDONOR COMMUNITYELECTRONIC MAILETHNIC GROUPSHUMAN RIGHTSINDIGENOUS COMMUNITIESINDIGENOUS ORGANIZATIONSINDIGENOUS PEOPLEINDIGENOUS PEOPLESINDIGENOUS PEOPLES POLICYINFORMATION SHARINGINSTITUTIONAL DEVELOPMENTINTERNATIONAL DONORSLOCAL DEVELOPMENTLOCAL GOVERNMENTSLOCAL LEVELNATIONAL LEVELNATIONAL ORGANIZATIONSPARTICIPATORY APPROACHPARTICIPATORY PROCESSPOLICY FRAMEWORKPOLITICAL WILLPOVERTY ALLEVIATIONPUBLIC POLICIESQUALITY CONTROLSERIES OF WORKSHOPSSOCIAL DEVELOPMENTSOCIALLY SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENTSUPERVISIONSUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENTTRAINING MODULESTRAINING PROCESSTRAINING PROGRAMSTRAINING WORKSHOPSTRIPARTITE DIALOGUEIndigenous Peoples Leadership Capacity Building Program For The Andean CountriesPrograma de Formacion de Lideres Indigenas de la Comunidad Andina de NacionesWorld Bank10.1596/10337
