The analysis of each sector includes a diagnostic of the sector in relation to the 2030 SDG agenda, providing the local context and the challenges the sector faces with regard to policy development and implementation, to identify the gaps in achieving the targets set for the respective SDGs. The sectoral analyses also present detailed results on the spending needs under several scenarios and recommendations to close the gap. The sectoral analyses are followed by an assessment of the exposure of infrastructure assets to natural hazards and the investment needs to increase their resilience following themethods developed for the Lifelines report (Hallegatte et al. 2019). A final macroeconomic analysis examines the growth implications of the proposed spending and the projected funding gap.
