This study, the impact of the Uruguay round on Africa, therefore attempts to measure these different factors to assess their quantitative importance for Africa.CC BY 3.0 IGOAGRICULTURECOMPETITIVENESSCREDIBILITYDEVELOPED COUNTRIESDEVELOPING COUNTRIESDEVELOPMENT ASSISTANCEEXPORT MARKETEXPORT SUBSIDIESEXPORTEREXPORTERSEXPORTSGNPINDUSTRIALIZATIONINTELLECTUAL PROPERTYLDCSLESS DEVELOPED COUNTRIESMARKET ACCESSMEMBER GOVERNMENTSNON-TARIFF BARRIERSPREFERENTIAL ACCESSPREFERENTIAL TREATMENTPROPERTY RIGHTSTARIFF BARRIERSTARIFF ESCALATIONTARIFF LEVELSTARIFF REDUCTIONSTECHNICAL ASSISTANCETOURISMTRADE IN GOODSTRADE IN SERVICESTRADE REFORMTRADE REFORMSTRADINGURUGUAY ROUNDWORLD TRADEWORLD TRADE ORGANIZATIONWTOZERO TARIFFSImpact of the Uruguay Round on Sub-Saharan AfricaConsequences de l'Uruguay round pour l'Afrique subsaharienneWorld Bank10.1596/9962
