The assessment focuses on the period between the two most recent PECS (2016/17–2023), but also draws on earlier data to examine historical trends and more recent data to briefly assess changes in living conditions as a result of the ongoing conflict. It offers a snapshot of living conditions, discusses the early impacts of the conflict, analyzes the spatial dimensions of poverty within the West Bank, and examines the connections between fiscal policy and poverty.en-USCC BY-NC 3.0 IGOCONFLICTFRAGMENTED CONTROLFISCAL POLICIESTAXES AND TRANSFERSWest Bank and Gaza Poverty Assessment 2025: Poverty, Conflict and the Erosion of Palestinian LivelihoodsReportWorld Bank
