Biography

Jun Rentschler is an Economist at the Global Facility for Disaster Reduction and Recovery (GFDRR, World Bank). Prior to first joining The World Bank in 2012, he served as an Economic Adviser at the German Foreign Ministry, where he focused on economic and energy policy. He spent two years as an economist at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) working on investment projects in resource efficiency and climate change.
