Sahar Hussain joined the World Bank as an Economist in February 2013 in MENA’s Poverty Reduction and Economic Management unit. Prior to that, she worked for the Egyptian Centre for Economic Studies (ECES) in Cairo as an economist on issues related to the economics of transitions, competition policy, and energy subsidies.
